From the very beginning, Farrel put me at ease and allowed me to feel comfortable in checking the box of securing their services for a very special birthday celebration. Best decision ever! Some times the best decisions are those made by the gut reaction to people, and Farrel and Betsy and their fellow band members are such lovely people to welcome into your most special events. They arrived in their red shoes and MADE THE NIGHT! Are they good musicians??? Heck yes, and my guests are still talking about them! But more importantly, they are really good people! When you’re planning events that will stick with you in your memories for the rest of your life, be sure to invite in people in that you would want to share the time with even if they are strangers prior. It was so fun to have Farrel, Betsy and Elias interact with us and have fun with our guests all throughout the night. Farrel was often on the dance floor alongside Matthew dancing while Betsy and Elias were killing it with the vocals and dancing along as well! Our guests raved at how well executed all parts of our entertainment were and how NBV was an amazing band - Betsy and Elias vocals sing so beautifully together and they created such a wonderful night for us and our guests!

Nothing But Velvet was extremely tasteful for our black tie formal wedding. They knew what type of music to start with and end with. Farrel is very intentional with client conversations and is open to all ideas. We had SO much fun dancing, crying, laughing!! The night would not have been the same without this incredible band. Our wedding guests thoroughly enjoyed NBV and we would highly recommend them over and over again! Family vibes if you know what I mean!
